Tottenham midfielder Alli live streamed himself (under the name delstroyer14) playing the game on Twitch to more than 10,000 viewers last week.

And he brought some of his online antics onto the pitch with him - though thankfully nothing too violent.

Alli, 22, stood with his hands in the air and swivelled side to side while stamping his feet after slotting in Christian Eriksen's pass.

He was interrupted by team-mate Harry Kane who, along with Leicester's Harry Maguire, is also a team-mate when playing Fortnite online.

Fortnite has gripped the footballing world with players from Atletico Madrid to Cardiff taking inspiration from it.

Antoine Griezmann made Arsenal 'Take the L' after his goal in the Europa League semi-final first leg, while Cardiff defender Callum Paterson has made Fortnite celebrations his forte this season.

In Fortnite, 100 players land on an island with just a pickaxe and must loot the surrounding areas for weapons and materials.

The winner is the last person or team standing.
