SHAHID KHAN is set to buy Wembley from the FA in a £1billion deal.
The Fulham Football Club and NFL's Jacksonville Jaguars owner is set to pay £600m up front with plans seeing the FA keep Wembley as the main home for major matches including England internationals and the FA Cup final.

SHAHID KHAN'S plan to buy the national stadium are setting up for an NFL franchise to be set up in the UK.
The FA are preparing to sending England "on the road" and it is expected that NFL games will take priority.
The Jaguars have been playing games at Wembley for a number of years and Khan could be set to move them to London but they would need the approval of the 32 NFL team owners.
It would be a controversial decision as it would be the first outside of the UK.

THE NFL released a statement shortly after the news broke in the UK.
It read: "We are very happy for Shad Khan and the Jacksonville Jaguars. The potential purchase of Wembley Stadium is a further powerful sign of their commitment to the UK and their vision to help us grow the sport.
"Having stadium options in London has always been critical to the NFL and, in tandem with our 10-year partnership with Tottenham Hotspur, this new relationship would allow for even greater flexibility in scheduling future NFL games in London."
