LIVERPOOL welcome Roma to Anfield for the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.

The Reds are aiming to make their first Champions League final in 11 years by beating the Italian side.

Liverpool made it to the final of the competition in 2007 but were beaten 2-1 by AC Milan at the Olympic Stadium in Athens.

The last time Liverpool lifted the trophy was in 2005 where the result went down in history as the "Miracle of Istanbul" after the Reds came back from 3-0 down at half-time.
