RB Leipzig striker Yussuf Poulsen reveals he is a Liverpool fan and dreams of a Premier League move
Denmark star says England would 'fit well' with his game - but he is no rush to quit the Bundesliga high-fliers
RB LEIPZIG striker Yussuf Poulsen has admitted he would love to join the Premier League and idolised Liverpool as a kid.
The 6ft 4ins Denmark striker, 23, claims he would “fit well” in English football.
But he insists he is happy to play with the Bundesliga high-fliers, possibly until his contract expires in 2021, or even beyond.
Poulsen also hopes this summer’s World Cup will make him a recognised man around Europe.
And of his future he told : “I would try it sometime in another league. But, whether that is 2021 or 2025 – no idea.
“The Premier League would generally interest me. That would fit well with my game.
“As a kid I ‘kept’ Liverpool. My best friend was a fan of the club – and then you are somewhere, too.
“In Denmark there was no other foreign league on TV.”

Wolfsburg and Borussia Monchengladbach have reportedly shown interest in Poulsen.
But his main aim is getting enough game-time with third-placed Leipzig to improve as a player and be in top shape for Russia.
When asked about links with Bundesliga rivals, Poulsen replied: “It may be that my adviser knows something about this.
“Not myself. I do not think about it. There is no reason for it right now. ”
