PEP GUARDIOLA will be handed a £200million war chest this summer in his quest to retain Manchester City's Premier League title.
The Spanish boss broke the club transfer record in January with the £57m purchase of Aymeric Laporte from Athletic Bilbao.
It is more than likely that could be smashed again this summer as Guardiola attempts to challenge on all fronts next season.
reports that Leicester winger Riyad Mahrez, Shakhtar Donetsk's Fred and Napoli's Jorginho are top transfer targets.
Nice midfielder Jean-Michel Seri and Borussia Dortmund's Julien Weigl are also under consideration, as is Monaco winger Thomas Lemar.
Guardiola parted with £200m last summer as he brought in the likes of £49.3m full-back Benjamin Mendy, £45m England man Kyle Walker and £34.9m keeper Ederson.
And it clearly paid off splashing the cash, as City wrapped up the Premier League title with five games still to play.
But with key players like Vincent Kompany and Fernandinho coming to the latter stages of their careers, Guardiola will be eager for some young blood to add to the ranks.
