Everton have not contacted PSV about Marcel Brands becoming new technical director
Dutchman has been linked with move to Goodison Park but PSV are yet to receive a call from Everton bosses about their highly-rated man
EVERTON have yet to even speak to PSV Eindhoven about Marcel Brands becoming their new technical director.
Brands has been linked with a move to Goodison Park as majority shareholder continues to overhaul to structure of the club.
And there have been suggestions the deal is already sealed for the 56-year-old to change jobs once PSV wrap up the Eredivise title.
But SunSport has been told that the Dutch club have had no contact with Everton - or been told by Brands that he is going anywhere.
And they have rubbished the claims Brands will be announced by Everton after they win the title, which could be as early as next weekend if results go their way.
It is understood Everton had spoken to PSV last year to enquire about him, but that interest cooled not long after the start of the season.
And since then the Premier League club have had no further communication with PSV officials.
Brands is regarded as one of the best technical directors in European football, gaining his reputation with impressive work at AZ Alkmaar and now PSV.

In that time he has spotted young talent, helped their development and allowed to make the clubs huge profits when they were eventually sold on.
The likes of Dries Mertens, Kevin Strootman and Mousa Dembele are players Brands has gone after and worked with before they made big moves elsewhere.

He is also credited with helping to revitalise the PSV academy system which is now producing more talented young players for the first team squad.
Everton owner Moshiri is clearly looking to improve the standard of player acquisition at Goodison Park as he continues to plough in his own money to rebuild the squad.
But he knows he also has to build a structure that is able to be self sustaining going forward.
The interest in Brands has cast doubt over the future of current head of recruitment Steve Walsh, who was snapped up from Leicester two years ago.
But SunSport also understands the club would be keen for Walsh to stay on in his role and work alongside Brands if they were to follow through with their interest.
