EVERTON handed Manchester City a slim advantage ahead of their Champions League clash with Liverpool by giving them full reign of Goodison Park.
Pep Guardiola's men trained at the home of the Toffees hours before kick-off as Jurgen Klopp's men were minutes down the road at Anfield.
Everton could have turned down City's request but allowed the likes of Kevin De Bruyne and Co to warm-up ahead of the huge first-leg encounter.
City's team bus arrived at Goodison Park around 10am this morning as locals left their houses to grab pictures and autographs with the Premier League leaders.
They were given a light session and will make a short trip across Stanley Park for the quarter-final encounter.
Just 24 hours before Guardiola was putting them through their paces on the Anfield pitch, which is allowed under Uefa rules.
Klopp was asked why Guardiola decided to hold a session at Anfield when he had opted to train at home before previous European games this season.
He responded in his press conference: “That’s a question for Pep, not for me, I have no clue. Ask Pep then call me!”
