Despite Guardiola prioritising Wednesday's Champions League match against Liverpool, the 23-year-old has highlighted Saturday's dream scenario for City fans.

He told City TV: "We have a chance [to win the league by beating United].

"It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and we must try to get the win on Saturday.

"Obviously, we must win the next game and after that we can relax but, obviously, that is a very important game on Saturday."
