NEYMAR moving to Real Madrid would not be a problem, despite his Barcelona past insists Carles Puyol.
The former Barca skipper reckons there is substance to reports the Brazilian superstar is keen to return to Spain, with the Madrid giants in pole-position to land him.
Neymar, 26, faces a fight to be fit for Brazil’s tilt at the World Cup as he recovers from surgery on a fractured metatarsal this month.
Reports have been doing the rounds for months Neymar wants out of Paris Saint-Germain this summer, 12 months after his record-breaking move to Ligue 1.
And Puyol who played with Samba star for a season at the Nou Camp believes there will not be an issue if his former team-mate opts to join Zinedine Zidane’s side.
He told Estadao: “I think he could join Madrid, yes.

“He’s a professional and it’s not that far fetched, but I think it’ll be difficult for him to leave PSG because they spent a lot of money on signing him.”
Reports claim Manchester City could be interested if Neymar was available this summer.
Pep Guardiola has never worked with Neymar with the forward joining Barcelona from Santos in 2013, a year after Guardiola had departed.
That move could be a dream come true for the Brazilian.
