Wielding batons, England fans were forced to flee as they faced a barrage of attacks from the police.

Police didn't appear to single out any fans in particular but hit those who couldn't escape the area quick enough.

There were around 16 police on foot and approximately six on horses who were attempting to clear the area.

A small group of supporters to the right of the video shows fans throwing punches at one another.
