England fans arrested after causing havoc in Amsterdam ahead of friendly clash against Holland

AT least 25 England fans were arrested last night for drunken behaviour in Amsterdam in the build-up to the clash with Holland.

Video shows one fan stripping down and launching himself into the water as Three Lions supporters wreak havoc in the Dutch capital.

The tourist psyches up a crowd surrounding the canal before unzipping his jacket, pulling off his sweatshirt and diving into the water despite the chilling six-degree temperature.

One reckless fan even throws a bike into the canal.

The unruly Brits erupt into chants of "Who are ya?" while the good-natured canal boat driver raises his fists in celebration.

A video was also circulating on social media of fans throwing beer at people on a boat in the canal.

England fans were branded a "national embarrassment" on social media for the appalling scenes.

One user wrote: "Scum, absolute vile scum."

While another said: "Horrible, horrible creatures."

Fears over Russian hooliganism have gripped Britain with men practising fighting and bulking up in gyms, according to a BBC documentary.
