LUIS ENRIQUE is "close to an agreement with Chelsea", according to reports in France.
With Antonio Conte almost certain to leave Stamford Bridge in the summer, the former Barcelona boss has emerged as the front-runner to replace him.
However, Paris Saint-Germain, who are set to dispense with boss Unai Emery at the end of the season, had also targeted Enrique.
But report that the Ligue 1 giants have now pulled out of the race because he is on the verge of agreeing to join Chelsea.
The two sides are looking at similar managers with Carlo Ancelotti, who has previously been in charge of both, also in the running for both jobs.
Meanwhile, Chelsea have also been linked with Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri.
