But despite upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Russia, Griezmann was still treated to a delicious bakery delight by his team-mates and coaches.

The forward could be seen smiling like a Cheshire cat as the tune of ‘Happy Birthday’ echoed around the room.

The cake was brought forward complete with sparkling candles, much to the happiness of his pals.

They are all sure to have tucked into a slice of the celebratory treat once the camera was turned off.

And after reaching the final of Euro 2016, it’s not as though Didier Deschamps’ men are in danger of doing their World Cup chances any harm with a little sugar boost.

Griezmann will be hoping for more floury goodness should a proposed move to Barcelona go through this summer.
