The huge promotion clash was supposed to be televised at 12pm on Sunday, March 18.
But the Rams stated on their website: “Derby County’s Sky Bet Championship fixture at home to Cardiff City this afternoon has been postponed.
“Following persistent heavy snowfall in Derby overnight, the surrounding areas at Pride Park Stadium have been left in an unsafe condition for supporters, staff and officials.
“A new match date will be communicated to supporters in due course on dcfc.co.uk.”
