Real Madrid and Robert Lewandowski reach agreement ‘in principle’ to sign star from Bayern Munich
La Liga side just now need to come to an agreement with Bundesliga giants over the transfer fee
REAL MADRID have reached a "principle agreement" with Robert Lewandowski to sign for them this summer, according to reports.
The Bayern Munich striker, 29, has been linked with a move to the Bernabeu for months.
Madrid president Florentino Perez is determined to bring in new additions at the end of the season to bolster the ranks of the La Liga giants.
And now claim that they have agreed a deal with the forward.
Lewandowski recruited super-agent Pini Zahavi as his new representative earlier this year.
And it is he who is believed to have thrashed out personal terms with the Spanish side for a move after the World Cup.
The report states all that is now left to do is for Bayern to sanction his departure and agree a transfer fee.
Polish hotshot Lewandowski is alleged to have agreed a two-year contract with Madrid with the option of a further 12-months.

The hotshot is under contract at the Allianz Arena until 2021 and will command a huge fee due to there being no release clause inserted into his package.
His potential arrival looks like it could signal the end of Karim Benzema's time in the capital.

And there are also still question marks remaining over the future of Gareth Bale.
Meanwhile, both Madrid and Bayern avoided each other in today's Champions League draw.
The Galacticos were pitted against Juventus, who they beat in the final of last year's competition.
And the Bundesliga outfit were paired with Sevilla in the last-eight.
