England fans are furious after Gareth Southgate reveals squad without Glenn Murray and Gary Cahill
Twitter users say it is no wonder 'thousands of us have long lost interest' after 'pathetic' Three Lions squad is announced
GARETH SOUTHGATE has revealed the 27-man squad for this month's friendlies and fans on twitter have been sent into a frenzy.
Glenn Murray's name didn't appear on the list and neither did Gary Cahill's with some fan's saying the squad is "pathetic" and the worst they have ever seen.
Minutes after the announcement Murray took to twitter posting a string of cry-laughing emojis with a picture of him with his hands on his head.
Many twitter users were furious and confused that Danny Welbeck was picked ahead of the Brighton forward who has scored 11 Premier League goals this season.
Justin Bennett said: "How on earth has dat guy Welbz made the squad and Glenn Murray hasn't?!?"
While Adam Benney said he would rather take Murray and "Danny Welbeck shouldn't be anywhere near that England squad."

Cahill has been axed following his dismal form with Chelsea but fans believe it was a "big mistake" leaving him out.
The 32-year-old has had more than 50 appearances for the national team and could have provided some leadership for an inexperienced and young team.
But Southgate reveals it is because of the youngsters like James Tarkowski and Alfie Mawson that he left the veteran out.
Four uncapped players were called up with Lewis Cook and Nick Pope adding to Tarkowski and Mawson.
Joe Hart is in, much to the amusement of some frustrated fans who joke that the keeper must "have something on" the Three Lions boss.
John Hall said: "Wonder what he's got on Southgate. I don't know how Joe Hart is still getting a gig."
While Ian Blackhurst said: "Joe Hart must have pictures of Southgate or something!"
Four keepers have been included with Jack Butland, Pope and Jordan Pickford joining Hart for the friendlies against Holland and Italy.
