Arsenal stopper Petr Cech finally notched his 200th Premier League clean sheet in 3-0 over Watford… but which shock name has the most top-flight shut-outs?
ARSENAL goalkeeper Petr Cech finally notched his 200th Premier League clean sheet on Sunday.
The former Chelsea stopper, 35, has been tantalisingly poised on 199 shut-outs since December 16 following the 1-0 win over Newcastle.
That run of 11 games appeared to be destined to continue, until he helped Arsenal batter Watford 3-0 at the Emirates on Sunday by saving Troy Deeney's penalty - which incredibly was his first ever spot-kick save.
Cech is now the first stopper to reach 200 clean sheets in the English top-flight.
But despite reaching his double-hundred, Cech is still not the all-time Premier League leader in clean sheets... with that honour going to a former Chelsea team-mate.
Surprisingly, midfielder Frank Lampard leads the way with an incredible 216 clean sheets in his career.
Another Chelsea star, John Terry, comes in second - with his 214 Premier League shut-outs.
Cech then comes in third with his impressive 200, although with his time at Arsenal potentially up at the end of the season, he may not get the chance to move up the list.
CARRA GONER Jamie Carragher should be sacked by Sky Sports for spitting on 14-year-old girl, according to football fans
Ex-Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher - facing a possible sack from Sky Sports for his spit row over the weekend - sits fourth on the list on 195 clean sheets.
That tally is six ahead of Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand, who racked up 189 shut-outs during his days at Old Trafford, West Ham and Leeds.

Along with Cech, Gareth Barry is the only other active Premier League player on the list, sitting sixth with 181 clean sheets.
Ryan Giggs (173), David James (169), Sol Campbell (153) and Mark Schwarzer (151) complete the top ten most shut-outs in Premier League history.
Cech will continue his unlikely bid to reach the No1 spot on the clean sheets chart when Arsenal play Stoke at the Emirates on April 1.
