Marcus Rashford marks first Premier League start this year for Man United with two goals in first 24 minutes against Liverpool
20-year-old drilled a shot across Loris Karius from 15 yards for the first, then capitalised on poor Liverpool defending for the second
MARCUS RASHFORD celebrated a recall to the Manchester United first XI with two goals in the opening 24 minutes.
The 20-year-old took just 14 minutes to mark his first Premier League start since Boxing Day with a fine strike.
David De Gea pumped a ball upfield where Romelu Lukaku flicked on to the England youngster.
And despite his lack of match action of late, Rashford took a few strides forward, turned Alexander-Arnold inside out, before drilling the ball past Loris Karius in the Liverpool goal.
Then things would get even better for the local lad.
Lukaku again proved troublesome to the Liverpool backline, and the ball broke to Juan Mata.
He was tackled, but Rashford was on hand to pick up the scraps, and slam home across Karius once again.
