Serie B side Perugia have dressing-room broken into and robbed during Brescia game
Perugia, who won the game 2-0, had their changing room ransacked in the first-half, with the team blissfully unaware
SERIE B side Perugia had to deal with an unusual hurdle on Tuesday night... after having their dressing-room broken into and robbed during a game.
The Italian side kicked-off the game with Brescia as they would any other, only to return to the changing room at half-time for the nasty surprise.
Reports claim electronic devices, jewellery and cash were among the items taken during the daring raid on Tuesday.
Both teams were forced into an extended interval as match officials were made aware of the bizarre situation.
No arrests have yet been made, according to local reports in Italy.
Amazingly though, Perugia did manage to run out 2-0 winners - with a goal in each half - as they professionally battled on despite the break-in.
The win bumped the club up to eighth in the 22-team league - as they closed the gap on the likes of Parma, Venezia, Bari and Palermo.
However, they still sit 13 points behind league-leaders Frosinone and also trail Empoli and Cittadella.
