Chelsea star Marcos Alonso admits Antonio Conte’s side are suffering from an ‘attitude problem’
Spanish defender concedes things aren't going according to plan at Stamford Bridge following four defeats in last five league games
MARCOS ALONSO has sensationally conceded that Chelsea are currently suffering from an “attitude problem.”
The Blues are enduring their worst run under Antonio Conte, having lost four of their last five Premier League matches.
Chelsea are now five points behind the top four after losing to Manchester City in a dismal display on Sunday.
And with a tough trip to Barcelona on the horizon, Conte’s season could be all-but-over very shortly.
Chelsea are struggling to hold onto leads and seem unable to get back into a match if they go behind.
This has led to speculation that Luis Enrique could take charge at the end of the season.

And defender Alonso admits things need to improve if Chelsea want to be in next term’s Champions League – starting with the squad’s attitude.
He told Spanish radio station Cope: “The team had the conditions and quality to play much better (at Manchester City), and I don’t think we were at our best.

“I think it’s an attitude problem and we have to make things clearer and improve quickly, because we have nine matches left and we want to be in the top four.
“I think that it is difficult, but we have to change the attitude, right?

“I don’t think we have a problem with quality, we have shown in many matches this season we can be competitive against any team, like we were against Barcelona a couple of weeks ago.
“If we don’t reach that kind of level of performance in every match it’s because of our attitude.”
