Aaron Ramsey following Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil and letting Arsenal contract run down
ARSENAL fear Aaron Ramsey will leave on a free transfer when his contract runs out in 2019, according to reports.
Earlier this season the Gunners were held over a barrel by Mesut Ozil, whose threats to leave earned him a £350,000-a-week contract.
And Alexis Sanchez was allowed to join bitter rivals Manchester United in december after letting his Emirates contract run down.
Arsene Wenger has never looked more vulnerable – after consecutive defeats to Manchester City – and claim Rambo could be next to cut ties.
The new Arsenal transfer team are already looking at replacements for the Welsh playmaker if their worst fears are realised.
Like most fans, Ramsey is reportedly startled by the form his current club is in and is examining his options.
The midfielder has made over 300 appearances for the club, since joining as a 17-year-old from Cardiff in 2008.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain appears to be enjoying life-after-Arsenal and Barcelona full-back Hector Bellerin is unlikely to hang around if the Gunners continue to stumble around the Prem and Europe.

But Ramsey has told the club website that he still fancies a place in the top four, despite the Champions League places fading away from his side.
Ramsey said: “No, [we're not giving up on the top four] because mathematically it's still possible.
"There’s 10 games left now so we have to really win every single one of them.
That's our target. Hopefully we can finish in the top four with the Europa League trophy as well.
"Considering the situation that we’re in at the moment, that would be a very successful season for us.
"Things in football happen so quickly. There’s so much to play for, so hopefully we can win all our remaining games.
"It'll be tough but that's what we have to do."
