CRISTIANO RONALDO scored his 300th and 301st La Liga goals against Getafe to help Real Madrid bounce back from their away humbling to Espanyol last week.
Boss Zinedine Zidane was closer than ever to the axe at the Bernabeu after being downed 1-0 and falling further behind Atletico Madrid and Barcelona.
But Gareth Bale — who broke David Beckham's record for most appearances for a British player in La Liga — opened the scoring against before Ronaldo doubled the lead.
Getafe then went down to ten men after former Newcastle striker Loic Remy was dismissed for a second yellow card.
But the visitors managed to get one back as Portillo netted a penalty.
Los Blancos managed to hold it together and Ronaldo scored again with 12 mintes left to put the game to bed.

“I will never rue having players absent. They are important players but we have to look to Tuesday’s game. If they can’t be with us, then someone else will play.
“We have two days to see how Luka and Toni will be.”
And the France legend is ready to release his No9 phenomenon, who has now scored 14 goals in his last eight appearances, on PSG to kill them off.
The Real boss said: ““He’s going to be in Paris and I’m very happy because he is going through a very good moment.
“You need to take advantage.”
