Liverpool want Mario Lemina from Southampton as Jurgen Klopp’s side look to raid the Saints again
Former Juventus star has been a hit during his time at St Mary's and could be rewarded with a big-money move to Anfield this summer
LIVERPOOL are preparing to raid Southampton yet AGAIN – for star midfielder Mario Lemina.
The Gabon international has impressed since joining Saints from Juventus last summer for a club record £15.4million.
Kop fans have made public appeals for the club to sign the 24-year-old central midfielder.
And Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp is understood to be considering a close-season bid for the former Lorient and Marseille ace.
The Reds considered signing Lemina from Marseille in 2015 before he went to Juventus instead.
Reports in respected French sources L’Equipe and France Football claim Lemina has been lined up for a move to Merseyside.

Liverpool signed five of their current squad from Southampton in Virgil van Dijk, Sadio Mane, Adam Lallana, Nathaniel Clyne and Dejan Lovren.
Meanwhile Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain began his career with Saints before joining Arsenal.

Libreville-born Lemina is a flamboyant character, who has recently dated Mario Balotelli’s former fiancée Fanny Neguesha.
The former France Under-21 international has since won 11 Gabon caps after switching allegiance.
He helped Juventus win Serie A and Coppa Italia doubles during both seasons with the Old Lady.
