Jose Mourinho ‘angry’ at Manchester United dragging feet over Anthony Martial and Marcos Rojo’s new contracts
JOSE MOURINHO is "angry" with Manchester United's hierarchy over their failure to agree new contracts for Anthony Martial and Marcos Rojo.
According to reports, the pair are still waiting for new agreements to be put on the boardroom table and ready to sign.
And this has agitated Mourinho, who wants harmony in his squad as they prepare to fight for their lives in the latter stages of the Champions League and the FA Cup.
The have reported that agents for both Martial, 22, and Rojo, 27, held talks with the club in December, but two months have passed and there are still no offers.
Both players' contracts expire at the end of next season, but United could exercise an option to extend France international Martial's by a further 12 months.
However, Mourinho is apparently getting hot under the collar about the board dragging their feet.
Marouane Fellaini is set to leave Old Trafford as a free agent in the summer after the club failed to approach him with a new deal.
United could face a headache on the horizon, with the likes of Juan Mata, Ander Herrera, Luke Shaw, Ashley Young and Daley Blind all entering the final years of their contracts next term.

While those names have not been the first on Mourinho's team sheets, they have made up a crucial part of United's squads.
Martial and Rojo both earn close to £70,000 a week, while the likes of Paul Pogba, Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez are on several times that sum - as is Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
