Thierry Henry admits interest in ‘dream’ Arsenal manager’s job as pressure mounts on Arsene Wenger

ARSENAL legend Thierry Henry has admitted it would "be a dream" to be the club's next manager.
Pressure is mounting once again on Arsene Wenger after their crushing defeat to Manchester City in the Carabao Cup Final.
Club record goalscorer Henry, signed by Wenger back in 1999, was among the guests in the Sky Sports studio watching his former club's embarrassing display against the Cityzens at Wembley.
Fellow pundit Jamie Redknapp insisted it was time for Wenger to go, suggesting his co-host and current Belgium No2 Henry was the perfect man to replace him.
The 40-year-old was then pressed on whether he would want the job, and although he attempted to remain dignified due to his relationship with Wenger, he could not hide his desire to be in the Emirates dug-out in the future.
He said: "It will be a dream for me, but I’m still with Belgium.
"Interested? Yes, who wouldn’t be? But I can’t talk about that out of respect for the man that is in charge still and my job that I’m doing right now with Belgium.
"But who wouldn’t be interested?"

He added: "I still have a job to do with Belgium, but let’s see what’s going to happen."
Henry previously worked as Arsenal's Under-18 coach while undertaking his Uefa A licence.

He left in 2016 to pursue a career in punditry before Roberto Martinez recruited his as his assistant for the Belgian national team.
Wenger has been in charge since 1996, but after going 14 years without winning the Premier League, many supporters are clamouring for change.
Despite a number of Wenger Out protests over recent years, three FA Cups earned him a new contract last summer.
But after missing out on the Champions League and looking increasingly likely to do so again this season, the pressure might prove too much for Arsenal chiefs this time around.
Following the defeat, Wenger brushed aside criticism from pundits and attempted to focus on their next game - coincidentally at home against City in the Prem on Thursday.
He said: "When you lose a game like that everything is questioned.
";We played against a good side, they dominate the Premier League.
"The next game, let’s win the next game. I’ll leave the conclusions to you."
