Oleksandr Zinchenko admits Manchester City fans mistake him for superstar team-mate Kevin De Bruyne
OLEKSANDR ZINCHENKO has revealed Manchester City fans mistake him for team-mate Kevin De Bruyne.
The Ukraine star has forced his way into the first team reckoning and is expected to play in the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal on Sunday.
But with the 21-year-old's stand-out fair hair, it is easy to see why fans have confused him with the Belgian international.
Zinchenko joked with: “I've heard it all the time, trust me.
“Everyone calls me 'Kev', when I'm getting the bus, the fans are shouting 'Kev, can I have a picture?' Then I turn and they're like ‘Oh, it's not Kevin’.
“From afar maybe we look like twins, but when we are together, I don't think so.
