After falling behind to an early goal, Jupp Heynckes' men showed their resolve and fought back to secure a victory that extends their wining run to 13 games
Robert Lewandowski came off the bench and scored an injury-time penalty for Bayern Munich to beat Wolfsburg 2-1 on Saturday.
Lewandowski converted his league-leading 20th goal from the spot after Arjen Robben - who earlier missed a penalty - was pulled back by the arm by Gian-Luca Itter.
Daniel Didavi broke the deadlock to give the hosts a surprise eighth-minute lead while Arjen Robben failed to level early in the second half from the penalty spot after a fantastic save from goalkeeper Koen Casteels.
The equaliser finally came after a Sandro Wagner grabbed an equaliser with a deft header after 65 minutes
On the 90th minute, Robben picked up the ball and darting into the box but was once again brought down to earn Bayern their second penalty of the game.
This time there was no mistake as Lewandowski confidently dispatched from the spot.
Bayern are now 21 points clear at the top of the Bundesliga and are closing in on an early German title.
The win stretches Bayern's winning run to 13 games and ensured Jupp Heynckes has 21 victories in 22 games across all competitions since he returned for his fourth stint as coach in October.
Bayern have not lost a match since November.
