JOHN TERRY will consider retiring at the end of the season, according to reports.
The Aston Villa skipper will delay a decision on whether to extend his playing career to focus on helping guide the Championship side back to the Premier League after a two year absence.

The former England international has made a huge impact at Villa Park since leaving Chelsea last summer after nearly 20 years at Stamford Bridge.
The experienced defender missed ten weeks with a broken metatarsal in November, but since his return Steve Bruce’s side have won five Championship games on the bounce.
Villa are now second, a point clear of Derby after the 2-0 win over rivals Birmingham on Sunday, a win that saw Terry notch up 227 clean sheets in English football.
His decision to continue playing may depend on Villa returning to the top flight next season.
Terry could be tempted by big money offers in China, Middle-East or he could try his luck in the MLS.

If none of those options appeal and he feels his body may not be up to it, Terry could retire and look back on an incredible career.
The defender is Chelsea’s most successful captain leading the Blues to five Premier League titles, four FA Cups, three League Cups, Europa League and the Champions League in 2012.
