JAMIE VARDY became the first player to score against all top six Premier League clubs in the same season.
The England striker may have suffered a crushing 5-1 defeat in Leciester City's loss at table-topping Manchester City.
But point out the centre-forward certainly made a mark with his 24th minute strike.
He proved once more that he has no problem raising his game against class opposition - hopefully a decent omen for England's World Cup finals campaign.
When he found the net to level the score at 1-1 at the Etihad it was Vardy’s 13th league goal strike and his 14th in all competitions.
Vardy bagged two against Arsenal on the opening day of the season.
