FANS have been tearing into Henrikh Mkhitaryan on Twitter after he appeared to "return to his Manchester United form".

At one stage, Mkhitaryan bizarrely booted the ball out of touch after some encouraging build-up play from his team-mates.

And it appeared fans had had enough as Arsenal - and Man United supporters alike - took to social media to all vent their frustration.

Having notched a hat-trick of assists in his last game - a 5-1 win over Everton - fans already believe he's been "reset to MUFC mode".

Prior to the North London derby, Mkhitaryan claimed he did have an impact at Old Trafford.

The new Arsenal star claimed: "I think I left an impression in Manchester, although I had difficulties.

"We won three trophies in a year and a half, it's not every club that does that. We won the Europa League final, I scored a goal.

"If people say that I have not had enough success it is their opinion, but I can say that I had a lot of success at the club."
