MAKE no mistake, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is clinging on to his job by the skin of his teeth.
Despite leading the Blues to the Premier League title in his first season at Stamford Bridge, the Italian looks almost certain to face the axe.
Two big defeats in a row against humble opposition - 3-0 at home to Bournemouth and 4-1 away to Watford - have seen Chelsea slip to fourth in the table.
Now 19 points behind league-leading Manchester City, Conte will look to lead his men to a bounce-back victory against West Brom on February 12.
However, with five days to get his head right, the Italian would do well to conveniently forget about the "West Brom curse".
Since 2012, no fewer than EIGHT managers have faced the Baggies and immediately been sacked or walked away from their club.
Check out the full list of bosses to be beaten by the infamous curse, below...
MICK McCARTHY - Wolves
IN February 2012, McCarthy oversaw a horror 5-1 defeat to West Brom while in charge of Wolves.
The Irishman had been in charge since 2006, but the demoralising home defeat saw him given the boot immediately - with the club being relegated that summer.
ANDRE VILLAS-BOAS - Chelsea
JUST weeks after McCarthy's farewell, AVB followed suit after just nine months at the Chelsea helm.
Villas-Boas could only watch as the Blues lost 1-0 to West Brom at the Hawthorns, as he was quickly sacked for his troubles.

Despite mustering a 1-0win over West Brom late in the season, the Italian was given his marching orders following the shock FA Cup final defeat to Wigan.
SIR ALEX FERGUSON - Man United
NOT a sacking or an axing, but Fergie's last-ever game in his long and illustrious tenure of Man United was against West Brom.
And what a game it was as the two sides played out a simply ridiculous 5-5 draw at the Hawthorns - easily one of the most bonkers results of his long career.
PAOLO DI CANIO - Sunderland
DESPITE somehow saving Sunderland from relegation the season before, Di Canio was given the boot early in 2013-14.
In September, the Black Cats slumped to a 3-0 loss at West Brom - with the Italian promptly dismissed.
