NEYMAR'S astonishing £600,000-a-week salary has been revealed to be more than DOUBLE the wages of the next best player in French football.
The Brazilian star stunned football when he decided to quit Barcelona last summer to make a £198million move to Ligue 1.
Paris Saint-Germain, backed by Qatar Sports Investments, ploughed everything they have in an attempt to turn themselves in the biggest club in European football.
And the sheer scale of their bankrolling has been revealed by French newspaper L'Equipe, who have published a rich list of the top 30 highest paid players in the country.
The list shows that 12 of the 13 best paid players in the division all play for PSG.
The only player to break that monopoly is Monaco striker Radamel Falcao, who comes in at ninth on the list.
Neymar's £2.7million-a-month salary dwarfs even the huge deals being paid to his attacking team-mates Edinson Cavani and Kyliann Mbappe.
Both Mbappe and Cavani rake in £1.3m-a-month, which at £290,000 is less than half the eye watering figure collected by the club's superstar striker.

Four PSG players are paid over £1m-a-month, with Brazil defender Thiago Silva the other of the major wage earners.

Even Manchester United flop Angel Di Maria and Marquinhos come in at just under a million every month as the full extent of PSG's wage bill is laid bare.
Amazingly, the top seven paid players in France would all make the top ten if a list was also drawn up to include wages paid in the cash-rich Premier League.
