Chelsea transfer news: Spanish star Alvaro Morata ‘wanted by PSG in shock summer swoop’

ALVARO MORATA has reportedly emerged as a shock target for Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

The Spanish striker only joined Chelsea from Real Madrid last summer.

But after a bright start to life at Stamford Bridge the hotshot has suffered a huge dip in form.

And a respected PSG news , claim that the Ligue 1 giants are readying a swoop to bring him to the French capital.

The attacking ranks at the Parc des Princes are already well stocked.

Edinson Cavani recently became the club's all-time top goalscorer.

While last summer they broke the world transfer record to sign Neymar from Barcelona for £198million.

And they also have the teen hotshot Kylian Mbappe, but they could be about to try and bolster the forward line further.

Paris United claim that PSG sporting director Antero Henrique has identified Morata as one of his main summer targets.

No fee has been mentioned, but it would take a huge offer to tempt Chelsea into selling considering they splashed out £60m for the star just six months ago.

The 25-year-old has bagged 13 times for club and country in 32 appearances this campaign.

But the goals have dried up in recent months as the ace also suffered with a number of injury woes.

His last effort to hit the net came in  the 2-0 triumph over Brighton on Boxing Day.

It is also reported that Roma frontman Patrik Schick is another man on PSG's wanted list.

And he is joined by his goalkeeper team-mate Alisson.
