LEICESTER'S players will welcome Awol Riyad Mahrez back with open arms, insists Harry Maguire.
The Foxes flier missed the draw with Swansea after failing to report for training in the wake of his failed exit.
But Maguire is adamant there are no hard feelings towards Mahrez despite his desire to join Manchester City.
He said: "The boys will welcome Riyad back and he's no doubt one of our best players.
"It's for him, his agent and the club to deal with, but we would welcome him back."
Leicester chief Claude Puel says he will “reassess Riyad when he clears his head” as failing to move left him “very depressed”.
Mahrez, 26, has been offered help from the PFA over his bitter row with his employers.
Pep Guardiola made a late bid for the winger, who handed in a transfer request, but the Foxes held firm.
