West Ham news: Leander Dendoncker ‘wants to join Hammers’ but Anderlecht will only accept £20m
Hammers are believed to have offered less than the Belgian club want for the 22-year-old central midfielder
LEANDER DENDONCKER wants to join West Ham, according to reports coming out of Belgium.
But the Hammers will have to meet Anderlecht's £20million valuation for the midfielder if they are to get their man.
Respected Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur has reported that Anderlecht have already rejected a bid from the London side for their star man.
He reports that West Ham "might come back with another offer", however.
Progress on the transfer is now in the hands of West Ham's three Daves - manager Moyes and owners Gold and Suillivan.
And of course satisfying Anderlecht's valuation of the 22-year-old.
Dendoncker is believed to be still in Belgium, and not on his way to London.
Dendoncker helped Anderlecht win last season's title.
