KEVIN DE BRUYNE says Manchester City will carry on just fine without Alexis Sanchez.

The Chilean, 29, joined rivals Manchester United on Monday after pricing himself out of a move.

City announced a new six-year contract for KDB within minutes of Sanchez’s switch to Old Trafford being confirmed.

And the £54million Belgian said: “It doesn’t matter, we will still do what we need to do, with or without him.

“And he chose United. OK, there are a lot of good players. If they want to come, they want to come. Otherwise we will do it with our team.”

City are still chasing four trophies this season after reaching the Carabao Cup final thanks to a real

They next face another of the Championship promotion hopefuls — Cardiff — in Sunday’s FA Cup fourth round.

De Bruyne added: “We play our game and want to win everything.

“The game that’s coming, you want to win it. So now, Sunday is Cardiff. We want to win that game and then it goes on.”

De Bruyne is flourishing under Pep Guardiola and hopes their working relationship can continue for a few years yet.
