GIANLUIGI BUFFON proved he was a safe pair of hands as he cuddled up to stunning fiancee Ilaria D'Amico in Mauritius.
The Juventus skipper decided to treat his Old Lady to some sun on his mid-season break.
Italian great Buffon is clearly still in great shape even though he turns 40 on Sunday.
And Ilaria, 44, also looks a keeper in the intimate snaps.
And despite being in fine form still, Buffon seems to be planning his retirement already and has urged Gianluigi Donnarumma to leave AC Milan for Juventus.
Donnarumma will replace the legend as the long-term Italy No1 after he retired from international football following the Azzurri's shock failure to qualify for the World Cup.
And Buffon hopes the talented youngster can replace him at club level once he hangs up his gloves.
Asked about what Donnarumma should do, he told : "Well, you can never go wrong with Juventus.

"I can't tell Gigio what to do because I'm not experiencing his situation — I don't know the emotional connection he could have with Milan.
