ARSENAL have seen several players leave in this window and are looking for worthwhile replacements.

With Alexis Sanchez on the way out, Arsenal have cited an interest in Bordeaux based Malcom who has now added fuel to the fire by claiming a stint in England would be a 'dream'.

Now that the Mkhitaryan deal looks to be closed, the Gunners are turning their attention elsewhere and look to be nearing ever closer to securing Brazilian ace Malcom from Ligue 1 side Bordeaux.

The Brazilian has scored seven times from 20 appearances in Ligue 1 this season, so it comes as little surprise that the 20-year-old is valued at £40million.

Arsenal and Tottenham are both willing to shell out to secure the winger, who himself has admitted that playing in the Premier League would be a dream.

Despite saying he was unsure of his future, Malcom said: "Is England a dream? Yes, it is a dream, it is a dream for all players and I am no different."

His agent had been spotted in London, posting snaps of himself visiting the sights, which sparked rumours that a move to London could be imminent.

Malcom himself appeared to confirm that his agent was indeed shopping around.

After his side's win over Nantes, he said: "I do not know if I will be staying or leaving, I leave that to my agents, to the club."

Tottenham had been leading the chase to secure the winger, but they're facing stiff competition from their North London rivals who are willing to loosen their purse strings.

Should Malcom make the switch to either side, he would be swapping a mid-table Ligue 1 side, for an English side vying for a top four finish and a Champions League place.
