'Very positive'

Borussia Dortmund star has had a number of run-ins with club bosses but looks set to make switch from Bundesliga this window

The Borussia Dortmund striker has had a number of run-ins with club bosses in the Bundesliga side.

But the Emirates chief is adamant that is not an issue ahead of a proposed move this month.

Asked if Aubameyang will fit Arsenal, Wenger said: "Yes, a character can be very positive or very negative.

"Overall you look at achievement over career and if he has done well the character has been used in a positive way."

Aubameyang's agent and father Pierre-Francois reportedly flew into London yesterday to finalise his £53million switch.
