Just 40 minutes before the scheduled kick-off, the Blues tweeted: "For fans coming to tonight's game, there is currently no service on the District Line between South Kensington/Edgware Road and Parsons Green/Ealing Broadway and Richmond due to a faulty train at Earls Court."

Antonio Conte's side will face Newcastle in the fourth round if they manage to overcome the Canaries at the second attempt.

His Blues played out a 0-0 stalemate against their Championship foes at Carrow Road - one of four straight draws.

And after another dire performance against Leicester, Conte will be desperate to take this chance to get back to winning ways.

But with league fixtures still to come, the Italian resisted the temptation to send out a full-strength team.

Willian, Pedro and Cesar Azpilicueta are the most regular starters in the line-up, while David Luiz gets a chance to impress.
