Sanchez wants his family to be close by while he settles into his new surroundings
ALEXIS SANCHEZ’S family have reportedly jetted into London ahead of his potential Arsenal exit.
claims the Chilean is on the brink of leaving the Emirates this month.
And he apparently wants his family to be close by when he moves to his new club.
Manchester City are favourites to land Sanchez, although they are not willing to pay more than £20million.
The 29-year-old is out of contract next summer and Pep Guardiola is more than happy to wait and sign Sanchez on a free transfer.
However, Manchester United have also joined the race and are willing to offer Henrikh Mkhitaryan plus cash in order to complete a January deal.
Arsene Wenger confirmed Sanchez’s exit on Friday, telling journalists: “It looks like Sanchez will not extend his contract.
“But we want to keep Jack Wilshere and if we have an opportunity maybe to keep Mesut Ozil, the rebuild will be less deep than if all three left.”
'WHY SHOULD I?' Arsene Wenger insists he won't quit as Arsenal boss
Arsenal are already looking at replacements and could return for Monaco ace Thomas Lemar.
They are also interested in Bordeaux’s Brazilian winger Malcolm, who could prove to be a more realistic target.
