HEARTS have captured Manchester United kid Demetri Mitchell on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Boss Craig Levein had made strengthening the left-back position a transfer window priority.
And he’s delighted to have secured the England youth ace, who was part of the under-17 squad that won the European Championships in 2014.
Highly-rated Mitchell was given a United debut by Jose Mourinho against Crystal Palace in the Premier League last May.
Mitchell turns 21 today and is expected to go straight into the side post winter break.
The Mancunian joined the United academy set up at 10 and has been converted from a winger.
Mitchell’s been part of the Red Devils’ under 23 team.
Boss Levein had earlier revealed he hopes to have THREE new faces lining up against in the Scottish Cup.
