HARRY KANE scored twice in two minutes to break Dons’ hearts – after the League One strugglers kept their Prem hosts at bay for more than an hour.
Superior Spurs dominated possession but failed to find a way through a resolute Wimbledon defence in the first half.

Erik Lamela and Kane both had long-range shots superbly saved by Dons keeper George Long, who also denied the Argie with a stunning one-on-one stop in the 41st minute.
Wimbledon, roared on by 7,700 fans, went close to taking a shock lead on the half hour mark when Jimmy Abdou’s curling shot was tipped on to the bar by Michel Vorm, who then reacted quickly to save the rebound from Liam Trotter.
Neal Ardley’s underdogs also started the second half brightly with Vorm forced to push Jonathan Meades’ header onto the roof of the net before Mousa Dembele struck the post with a 52nd-minute shot.
But Kane finally made the breakthrough when he slotted in Moussa Sissoko’s cross in the 64th-minute.

Then 60 seconds later he made it 2-0 with another close-range finish after Kyle Walker-Peters’ shot had been deflected into his path.
Jan Vertonghen netted Tottenham’s third with a 25-yard screamer in the 71st minute.
