Emre Can set to stay at Liverpool this month amid Juventus interest with contract talks continuing
Italians want to land German midfielder on a free but the Reds are open to talks about extending his contract
JUVENTUS are expected to make one last bid to land Liverpool midfielder Emre Can this month.
But the Reds are unlikely to let him go.
The 23-year-old midfielder has entered the final six months of his contract and has been in talks with Juventus over joining them next summer on a free transfer.
But Juve really want him now and will pursue that aim.
Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is hopeful the German will sign another deal to stay at Anfield beyond this season.
Klopp won't pressurise the player, saying "we have to respect his contract is ending and that's how it is".

Not to mention the fact that Barcelona are expected to come knocking for Philippe Coutinho again.

That does not now appear to be the case.
But that won't stop the Serie A giants making one last effort in the coming weeks.
