Manchester City is his most likely destination and with Gabriel Jesus crocked for at least three months, it could force boss Pep Guardiola to move for Sanchez this month.
And Wenger is already drawing up a shortlist of replacements to help fire Arsenal back into the top four.
Reported by Calciomercato, striker Aubameyang is right at the top of that list.
The Gabon international has endured a turbulent season for the under performing Bundesliga side.
The 28-year-old has scored 13 league goals in 15 starts this season but has been suspended for "disciplinary reasons."
Aubameyang was thought to have turned up late to training numerous times hinting that he is looking to force a move.
And speaking about a potential move in January, he previously said: "I have not renewed a contract.
"In the winter market a lot can happen, also for me."
