JOSE MOURINHO is desperate to land top target Lucas Moura this month.
Manchester United want to sort a loan deal for the out-of-favour Paris Saint-Germain winger.
But the French Ligue 1 leaders say they will only agree if it leads to a permanent deal worth around £40million next summer.
United tried to get Brazil star Moura, 25, in 2012.
But they were beaten by PSG, who signed him from Sao Paulo for £38m.
Moura has played 212 times for PSG, scoring 44 goals and winning the Ligue 1 title four times.
Last season he hit 19 goals in 52 games as PSG were pipped to the title by rivals Monaco.
Yet he has not started a match this season, managing just six substitute appearances.

While Moura is looking to join United, Matteo Darmian is eyeing a move away after falling out of the reckoning under Mourinho.
