Arsene Wenger says Man City target Alexis Sanchez’s future is ‘not my problem’ despite him being free to talk to clubs from Monday

Arsenal boss defies belief by saying arguably the side's most important player is 'free to go where he wants'

ARSENAL boss Arsene Wenger astonishingly admits that Alexis Sanchez’s future is “not my problem”.

Sanchez, a Manchester City target, can talk to other clubs tomorrow.

Wenger said: “I don’t know what is going on in his head and whether he is with us short term or long term. I am not a psychologist.”

Rebel Sanchez, 29, is in the final year of his Gunners contract and the Chilean star has refused to sign a new deal.

The striker’s first choice is to reunite with his former Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium.

Arsenal’s record scorer Thierry Henry claims Sanchez has sparked a dressing-room rift at the Emirates.
