ENGLAND are pondering playing away from Wembley, with their final World Cup warm-up game at Leeds United’s Elland Road.
Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate wants two friendlies, against yet to be named opposition before he jets off to Russia with his squad, according to .
The first game will be at Wembley, but the second will not be at the national stadium, with 37,890 capacity Elland Road pencilled in.
It will be the first time the Men's senior side will not have played at the national stadium since it reconstruction in 2007.
England toured around the country from 2001 for seven years while Wembley was being rebuilt for £757million.
They played World Cup and European qualifiers at Old Trafford, Anfield, St James’ Park, and the Stadium of Light.

The Three Lions last played at Elland Road in March 2002, they were beaten 2-1 in a friendly by Italy.
They also drew 3-3 against Sweden there in June 1995 and the stadium was used for three group matches at Euro 96.

Friendly matches against Netherlands in Amsterdam and Italy at Wembley have already been arranged for 23 March and 27 March respectively.
The FA agreed a deal to play all England games at Wembley until the end of this year.
But the move to take the team around the country while Wembley was under construction was such a huge hit, Southgate and the FA may want to do the same from next year.
