ASTON VILLA are on the trail of Leicester City forward Leonardo Ulloa and Burnley’s Nakhi Wells.

Wells, 27, was on Villa’s radar before his switch to Turf Moor from Huddersfield in the summer for £5million.
However the Bermuda hitman has failed to make any impact since his move to Lancashire and has not made a single appearance for Sean Dyche who could allow him to leave on loan.
Ulloa was desperate to leave the King Power last season after a row with former manager Claudio Ranieri.

But the 31-year-old signed a new two-year deal in August but has only made three league appearances from the bench this term.
Bruce is keen to make another high-profile addition next month and insists the size of the club could be a big pull for top players.

He said: “It’s like playing for a Premier League club here because of the size of the club, the facilities, the crowd and the atmosphere we create at Villa Park every week.
“We’re looking at loans because we don’t have the luxury of spending millions.”
Villa take on promotion rivals Sheffield United at Villa Park on Saturday.
