Liverpool teen sensation Ben Woodburn to be allowed to head out on loan to gain valuable first-team experience
LIVERPOOL'S teen sensation Ben Woodburn could be set for a loan move away from the club to gain valuable first-team experience.
According to reports, the 18-year-old made a stunning debut for Wales in the autumn, scoring a dramatic late winner against Austria in the World Cup qualifiers.
But he has found game time hard to come by under Jurgen Klopp and last played in the Reds' Carabao Cup defeat to Leicester in September.
He has since been on the bench for Liverpool's 3-0 win over Huddersfield but was an un-used substitute.
But before he quit as Wales boss, Chris Coleman saw fit to use Woodburn in their international games against Austria, Moldova, Georgia, Ireland, France and Panama, giving the youngster some valuable experience.
The forward broke Michael Owen's record of becoming Liverpool's youngest goalscorer last season, netting against Leeds at the age of 17 years and 45 days.
